wreath making with laura ashley

wreath making with spices and pine cones
as you will have seen from my most recent snapshots of my week, last wednesday i went to a wreath making workshop in bristol with some blogger friends. it was a really nice way to spend a couple hours, and i finally got to meet these lovely ladies!

the wreaths were kindly provided by laura ashley, and was hosted in the mockingbird cafe in clifton. i really enjoyed it in there, and will definitely go in again next time i’m in that area of bristol ..if only for the granola. it was so good.

my finished christmas wreath
and here’s my finished wreath. i tried to keep it somewhat simple, but still have a slightly ‘me’ feel about it, which the flowers and tiny pom poms helped with! despite not being a hugely christmassy person (i keep it very basic decor-wise and we normally just have a couple sprigs of holly, some fairy lights and some nice flowers) i really enjoyed making this and the wreath will become a welcome addition to our christmas decor!

thanks jess! haha you were wearing heeled boots weren't you? i didn't want to stand on the chair either, so i just tiptoed as high as i could held the camera high and hoped for the best.
