my work

wired magazine | new collage

late last year i was commissioned by wired to do a small illustration depicting the film ‘passengers’ to accompany a short write-up. it’s always wonderful to see my work in magazines, and it’s actually one of my goals this year to get my work in more magazines ..and hopefully a book of sorts!

as you can see, this illustration turned out to be a little different from my usual style (which is a bit more bright, minimal and with a femme vibe) but i still like it and feel it fits the vibe of the magazine well.

oh, and no, your eyes haven’t gone all fuzzy, i did double up the photo of chris pratt, reduced the opacity and dragged it back a bit, to make it look like he’s ‘fading’. not sure if it comes across that way though!

what do you think of it? i’d love your opinions. if you want to see it in person, it’s in the ‘tastemakers’ issue, opposite an article on bonobo.

if you’d like to commission a pattern or collage from me, for personal use, licensing or for a publication (or anything else), you can contact me via email.

I LOVE this, it looks great! I like your normal style, but I’m also really into pictures of space, so I think it looks really cool, and the colours are great too. Congrats on the commission, I’m sure you’ll be able to get lots more this year because you’re really talented.
