what i wore – retro print dress & collared cardigan

i have been waiting to wear this dress for what feels like forever! i bought it in the summer, but realised that with the lining it was a bit too heavy to wear in the summer. i get hot far too easily! but i also get cold too easily too. my body temperature control does not work as normal.

i stored it away in my wardbrobe waiting for autumn when i could finally wear it in comfort. it’s pretty chilly today so i wore it with a favourite faux fur collared cardigan and my little gold horse brooch. also, i didn’t realise until now the colours are pretty traditionally autumnal colours too. i never wear orange, but this dress is an exception because i love the retro-esque (that’s a word, right? it is now) pattern and shape of the dress, and there’s not too much orange on it anyway.

can i just say i love this lipstick too? i’ve been waiting to get it forever, but it never seemed to be in stock near me, or i didn’t have the money. it’s such a nice ‘true red’ and i’m so glad i finally have it. i also got the 110 shade too as i can never resist a coral-red lipstick.also, note to self: cut your fringe!

thank you! haha, oh my god fringes grow SO quickly don't they! i think it's because they tend to be trimmed more. which sounds weird when you think about it.

yep! i am totally comfortable wearing it day to day (may be too dressy for some i think) but would be good for going out for dinner or something like that too. and yay for the horse pin! i have a silk scarf with a horse print pattern on it too :)
