hello again! no post last week as i was in london visiting my dad but i return with photos and video! ..sadly no gifts, sorry. it’s always nice seeing my dad, as i only get to see him a couple times a year, and even then only for a day. we went to the summer exhibition at the royal academy, which was colourful to say the least. to be totally honest i wasn’t a fan of the majority of the work, but what i did like, made it totally worthwhile. there was one painting in particular that my dad and i were quite transfixed on, as it was just so calming. have you been? what did you think?

before/after i met up with my dad i met viktorija ..we went to shepherds in victoria much wonderful stationery and allll the lovely, lovely paper. then after the RA i met sade and we had some burgers at byron burger. super tasty! gutted they don’t do sweet potato fries. everywhere should do them, right?

also! the boyfriend got a new job, so we went out for a little meal at chapter to celebrate. don’t often go out for food, then i go twice in a week! oof.

how was your week?

that’s a shame you and your didn’t enjoy the exhibition all that much but what counts is that you had a lovely day together and got to spend time with each other. :) and yes, everywhere should absolutely do sweet potato fries!!

I haven’t been to the summer exhibition and I keep meaning to, I’m hearing a lot of mixed views on it. I think the summer exhibition can either be really good or really not. Beautiful photos and your week sounds like it was lovely.

ha, yeah i think that’s it. i’m very open minded when it comes to art ..but i know when i like something, when i don’t, and when i don’t feel anything too. as i said, it was worth it for the things i liked, and the (rare) company of my dad!

and thank you, by the way!
