what a busy week! the previous couple weeks have been a bit dull for various reasons, but this week i’ve been to london (photos/video next week), to a lovely event in cardiff (more on that in a moment), a hospital appointment, done some christmas shopping, and gotten my blog ahead of schedule again. all on top of working and other commitments.
it’s always good to have a super productive week isn’t it? it definitely makes you feel more capable and like you can keep accomplishing more and more things.
on sunday (the 29th) i went to a little event in the miss patisserie store, in the high street arcade in cardiff. everything smelled and looked delicious. it turns out i’ve been past this place before (the cupcakes in this snapshots post? bath bombs!) and not realised what it was. most people commented they were totally fooled by the cupcake/bath bombs too, so at least i wasn’t the only one.
everything in miss patisserie is cruelty free, sourced and handmade locally with natural ingredients. they have a range of items, such as bath bombs and melts, candles, body scrubs and perfumes. as a person with dry and somewhat sensitive skin, it was nice to know this is catered for too, as fellow sufferers know how hard it can be to find nice smelling, affordable and cruelty free products that don’t cause you to flare up. miss patisserie products are stocked all over the uk, but the cardiff shop is where you really need to head to get a real good sniff in person.
i for one will definitely be going back soon, especially to buy the divine smelling peony and pear body scrub. charlotte helped us to test some of the products and i can safely say that body scrub leaves you feeling as soft as a kitten. we were also given a bag with some samples which i look forward to trying out soon.
