snapshots of my week – 3rd january

what a busy week! only joking. i’ve done very little this week, it’s the boyfriends last week off work, so it’s been nice just to lounge and spend some time together. i make an effort to try and take at least a few photos each week, and that will obviously be continuing this year.
firstly, i want to say, i have a sale on in my shop! up to 50% off on all items! no code needed, as the discount is already applied. the sale will be on until the 17th of january, or until stock runs out, whichever happens first. snap something up whilst you can, as most of it won’t be back!

on the first on january i thought it’d be a good time to get out of the creative slump i’d been in, so i made two patterns using vintage florals.

i wore cute collars and bows.

i finally found the rimmel kate moss lipstick in 107/wine. i love it. i’ve wanted a berry shade lipstick for the longest time, and when i tried a tester of this a few weeks ago i knew i needed it, but it seemed to be sold out everywhere! i tried to show the colour as true as i could. it might look a little shiny here, but that’s just the light. it’s totally matte and almost feels like there’s nothing on my lips. now to find the perfect nude. any suggestions?

i found this super cute picnic basket in a charity shop. it was so cheap that i couldn’t not buy it. i bought it mostly for storage, but i might have to use it as a prop in photos from time to time. i also found two of these wedgewood plates. i absolutely love them and couldn’t believe my eyes when i saw them for just £1 each.

also i just really liked this photo i took of the reflections from a crystal ball i have hanging on my wardrobe.
