my work in betty annual

betty annual 2015 front coverbetty annual patterned endpage

you have no idea how excited i was to receive an email a few months ago from charlotte of betty magazine/annual asking if i wanted to contribute something. for quite some time it’s been one of the publications i dreamt of being in so of course i jumped at the chance. i was busy working on my toni & guy images at the time, so had i the time i’d loved to make an original piece for them. hopefully another time!

i edited an older piece ‘it’s alive, it’s alive!‘, which initially had a crowd of people in the background, to accompany a written piece and one of my patterns for the end pages so the colour scheme would match that of the blouse of the girl on the cover.

if you like what you see and want to commission me, get in touch! oh, and if you want to buy a copy of the betty annual 2015 you can do so here.
