instead of a snapshots post this week i thought it’d be more interesting to share my photos from the isle of dogs exhibit at the store X at 180 the strand. i went to london recently (obviously) and i always try to make the most of my time there by meeting up with people, going to exhibits or finding something interesting to do. first of all i went to the RA with my dad, then i met with ron (for the first time!) to go see this.
the exhibition was fantastic and i felt in awe as to how much work has gone into making these props and set-pieces for the film. so much detail! it was fantastic to see these pieces up close, and notice details i’d never get the time to fully appreciate when watching the film. which i haven’t actually seen yet. if you have, is it good? wish more films would put on experiences like this!
as you might expect, this is quite a picture heavy post, so proceed with caution if you’ve limited data.
the exhibition will be open until the 8th april, so if you’re nearby and haven’t been yet it’s well worth a look! by the way, this isn’t a review of the exhibition – just my photos of it. if you want to read more detail about the pieces and exhibit, you can do so here for example.
