collages for toni & guy

suzie of hello october, by laura redburn for toni & guy
i’ve wanted to share my collages for the most recent toni & guy social media campaign on the blog for a while now, so, here we go! this was fun to work on, and it was nice to basically do what i want (with some art direction of course) with the images!

i had to work digitally as the deadline was quite tight, but i do wonder how different these may have looked if i’d made these collages in a more traditional manner. still feel as though these illustrations are recognisably mine though, especially the first and last images. what do you think?

i was briefed to make collages/illustrations based around the idea of ‘postcode style’ – that being landmarks of the area each blogger is from. for example, the brighton pavillion, and the angel of the north. they were then shared on instagram and twitter with the toni & guy branding.

from top to bottom, suzie is from brighton, kayleigh is from manchester and megan is from newcastle. i took some photos and video on the day too, so will be sharing that soon.

like these, and want to comission me to make collages/illustrations for you? email me to enquire about rates and availability.
