I’m not a fashion blogger per se, but I do enjoy fashion. From time to time I share things I’ve recently worn, wishlists, etc. Mostly charity shop items, but some new pieces too. Want to work with me on a post? Email me!
i very rarely do wishlist posts, and ..well, this isn’t quite a wishlist, more a ‘things i plan to buy at some point but by the time i have enough money they’ll not exist anymore ..list’, ha! but i guess it’s a wishlist in the sense that should some kind soul want to buy me any of these things, they’ll know what i want. *nudge nudge to my boyfriend if we ever win the lottery*
these are all things i’ve wanted (or in terms of a new laptop, needed) for quite some time, as well as a couple of things that are more recent, but still longed for. in no particular order:
olympus omd em10 – for quite some time i’ve wanted a DSLR replacement that has the image and build quality of one, but in a smaller, lighter body. i love my fuji x10 so much and i take it absolutely everywhere with me, but i know a camera like this (with a prime lens) would offer much better image quality (plus other benefits) for times when i want or need superior images. i’d have to sell my 650d and save on top to be able to afford this, but i’ve done a lot of research and it really seems like an amazing camera. continue reading…

well hello new glasses! i accidentally broke my spare pair, and have been looking for a new spares for when i want a change from wearing my presley frames. i’m typically drawn to the same sort of styles, but sometimes i have trouble choosing what will look best, especially when ordering online. i don’t have one of those faces that will suit anything (sadly), so it’s always nice to try some on first, so this time round i decided to try the home trial!
if you’ve read/seen outfit posts on this blog even once, you’ll know i love polka dots ..and so naturally another one has found its way into my collection! to be fair, i don’t have any with big polka dots. this, and the jacket was from the blogger event with taking shape a couple weeks ago. i tried on a looooot of clothes, but as soon as i tried on this combo i knew it was a winner! i have to say, it was nice to stay in the waiting room and have clothes handed to me. the staff were lovely, helpful and not too salesy like a lot of shops can be.
it’s mid october and i’m wearing a dress without tights or a cardigan? it happened to be a really nice day when i took these photos, hence it not looking particularly seasonal. i’m sure tomorrow i’ll be back in layers and a scarf again!
