i'm tempted to quote that 'friday' song today, but i won't! when autumn starts coming around, i feel the need for florals more and more as they aren't around quite so much in nature. well, not in cardiff anyway. luckily for me my flat and wardrobe are full of them.
i find it weird that sometimes i'll get weird looks for wearing bright and colourful clothes (often with a floral pattern on) in the autumn and winter months, as though there's something wrong with not wanting to wear colours more 'suited' to the coming time of year. don't get me wrong, i love mustard yellow, purples, dark greens etc, but there's nothing wrong with wearing clothes with a springy or summery palette.
on that note, do you have any favourite 'wintery' florals?
